Canoeing Trip
Join us on a magical canoe trip in one of the most beautiful areas of Denmark.
We will go together in a bus to the small town Ry, where will hop into a canoe and paddle our way via Gudenåen to Himmelbjerget (aka. the sky mountain). Here we will hike to the top of Denmark’s 2nd highest point (breathtaking 147 meters), where we will eat our lunch and enjoy the view.
After this we will canoe back to Ry, where the bus will take us home.
We will paddle an approx. 4 hours in total, so you don’t need to be a n elite athlete or paddler to join, but it will require a bit of arm strength

Please note: The route may change depending on the weather - if the wind is too strong we will canoe south, and not go to Himmelbjerget, but enjoy the scenery of Gl. Ry instead.
SCHEDULE
09:30: we meet at Studenterhus Aarhus and take off for Ry
10:30: We find our canoes, vests and get a quick introduction to paddling.
13:00: Arrival at the foot of Himmelbjerget, where we will climb to the top and enjoy our lunch.
15:00: We head back to Ry.
17:30: We go back to Aarhus by bus.
09:30: we meet at Studenterhus Aarhus and take off for Ry
