Day of the Little Candles
Here in Aarhus, you can always tell when the Christmas season begins — the moment Salling lights up like a giant present!
But this December, we invite you to join us for another celebration that lights up the dark — the Colombian tradition of the Day of the Little Candles, marking the eve of the Immaculate Conception.
In Colombia, people would have the next day off work (we wish we could promise you that too), but what we can offer is a cozy evening filled with bonfires, candles, snacks, and warmth.
We’ll gather at Risskov bålhytten, share stories about the tradition, and enjoy each other’s company under the stars.
Let’s light the way into the season together!

Admission: Free of charge, but registration is required.

Details:
- Everybody has to bring a candle to light.
- We are gonna be in a little hut, but it is gonna be open, so bring warm clothes!
