Paddle your way through the stunning Silkeborg Lakes.

The area around Silkeborg is one of the most beautiful in Denmark. You get the most out of the landscape by enjoying it from the water, so we'll start out in our canoes in Silkeborg, at the lakes, and continue down Gudenåen, Denmark's longest river.

SCHEDULE:

09:00 We meet at the Student House (Nordre Ringgade 3)

10-11: We find our canoe buddies, our canoes, and are introduced to the dos and donts of the ride.

11:00: Take-off!

13/14: We enjoy a picturesque, well-deserved rest - and our lunch.

17-18:30: We arrive at our end destination at Kongensbro, where we load off our canoes and find our bus to go home.

Note: If all goes well we will paddle 22 km - some 4,5-6 hours in total. It is a commonly paddled distance and you do not need to be Super Man or Wonder Woman, but it does require a little bit of arm strength - chances are, you will sleep well that night!
